Clean And Green

Environmental issues like global warming, deforestation, domestically prohibited goods and pollution of the natural environment have drastically affected the health of our country. However, we are on the path to controlling them better and India has made some of the fastest progress in addressing its environmental issues. AGADA will concentrate on the following:

• Achieve universal and equitable access to safe and affordable beverages for all. 

• Achieve access to adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene for all and end open defecation, paying special attention to the wants of women and girls and other people in vulnerable situations. 

• Improve water quality by reducing pollution, eliminating dumping, and minimizing the release of hazardous chemicals. 

• Increase water-use efficiency across all sectors and ensure sustainable withdrawals and provide freshwater to deal with water scarcity. 

• Support and strengthen the participation of local communities in improving water and sanitation management. 

• Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on global climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction, and early warning.
